Melanie found a volunteer opportunity that combined so many of her favorite things and she was thrilled to join Lasagna Love in September 2021. A Knoxville native, she currently lives in Murfreesboro with her partner and lasagna chauffeur, Rick, and their rescued cats. Melanie works in the health care industry as a technical product manager. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time in nature, reading, attending live theater performances, trying out new restaurants, and doing what she can to make the world a better place. She got the love of cooking from both of her grandmothers and remembers them fondly every time she’s preparing a meal for others.
