Stephanie Stocum

Chief of Staff

After learning about Lasagna Love from our TODAY Show segment, Steph signed up as a volunteer chef, and soon after, ascended into the role of Local Leader. Her steadfast support of her volunteer team and executive leadership resulted in an invitation to officially join the Lasagna Love team as the Portal Manager in March 2021, a role she has held until her recent promotion to Chief of Staff.

Steph is a graduate of the University of Maryland (College Park), wife to Dan, and mom to Megan and Josh. She has worked as a developer and government contractor, overseeing large scale projects requiring technical savvy. Throughout her professional career, she has identified and mitigated risk factors that may inhibit project success, helped organizations to optimize performance, and mentored and trained staff. Steph currently resides in Virginia Beach with her husband and her college-aged daughter and son, where she also delivers lasagnas to community members. She loves hanging on the beach, binge-watching shows on Netflix and watching baseball & football.

“Volunteering with Lasagna Love revived my sense of purpose,” she said. “By becoming a member of Lasagna Love’s executive team, I’ve successfully blended my project management and business background, with a deep commitment to community and service. I’m excited to transition into my new role, which will include continued oversight of Lasagna Love’s portal and technical operations, as well as direction for our volunteers, social media, fundraising, and development practices.”
