Hopetoun Park resident and Lasagna Love volunteer Elley Camilleri is part of a charity that makes lasgana for people in need. (Damjan Janevski).
Many claim to know how to cook the best homemade lasagna, so why not share your skills and help others in need of food aid in your local community?
“The whole thing about lasagna is that it’s a labour of love,” Ms Camilleri said.“Given the current climate that we’re living in, I think it’s really important to be spreading as much kindness as we can.“She said the efforts not only help address food insecurity, but also provide the simple act of love and kindness during times of uncertainty.
“The most important thing for me is having two younger children … showing kindness – showing them that if you are able to help, you should.”The charity formed in 2020 in San Diego before expanding to other countries.
