BOSTON, Mass. (Oct. 5, 2023)Lasagna Love, an international nonprofit that aims to positively impact communities by connecting neighbors through homemade meal delivery, is pleased to announce the appointment of Wendi Taylor Nations to its Board of Directors. As an experienced professional with a passion for giving back and community outreach, Nations brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to help drive Lasagna Love’s mission forward. 

With a strong background in marketing and communications, Nations has consistently demonstrated her commitment to making a positive impact across a variety of industries. Throughout her career, she has been involved in various philanthropic and charitable initiatives—including providing access to nutritious meals for underserved communities with Lasagna Love. As a member of Lasagna Love’s Board of Directors, Nations will play a pivotal role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction and expanding its reach to new communities.

Nations expressed her excitement in joining the Board of Directors, stating, “I have always believed that food has the power to bring people together and create positive change. I am honored to be a part of Lasagna Love and its mission. First, as a volunteer cooking and delivering lasagnas, and now as a member of its esteemed Board of Directors. I look forward to collaborating with the talented team to further our impact and expand our programs.” 

Nations is EVP and Partner at Hawthorne Strategy Group, one of the Midwest’s leading marketing and communications firms. She previously held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at both global executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles (H&S) and World Business Chicago. After H&S, Nations joined Fleishman & Hilliard where she led the team that won the $37 million Affordable Care Act “Get Covered Illinois” business. She is also a Trustee of the DuSable Museum of Black History and Education Center, the DePauw University Board of Visitors and a member of Kellogg’s Pete Henderson Society. 

Lasagna Loves is dedicated to spreading the joy of homemade lasagna by providing free meals to individuals and families in need. Through their network of volunteers, the organization aims to combat hunger and foster a sense of community through the power of lasagna. With the addition of Wendi Taylor Nations to their Board of Directors, Lasagna Love is poised to make an even greater impact and continue their efforts towards creating a happier, well-fed society.
